INTRODUCTION: This position is located at the Auto Crafts Center, 36th Force Support Squadron, Andersen Air Force Base Guam.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Provides information, and services to customers. Sells auto resale items. Collects fees, issues and maintains receipts / tools, processes payments / refunds / credits; prepares daily cashier activity reports / safety inspection forms, and other routine administrative work required for the daily operation of Auto Hobby program. Exercises procedures to safeguard cash, charges, change fund, and controlled forms. Answer phones, collect / receive payment, file, shred, and perform other clerical related duties. Coordinate and confirm schedule appointment s for vehicle repair with supervisor / mechanics for repair, detailing, etc. Responsible to make follow- up phone calls to customers of any changes given by supervisor / mechanics; inform customers schedule changes to ensure good communication flow. Relay all received messages and request to the supervisor and mechanics. Provides assistance to patrons, supervisor and mechanics. Assists manager to keep proper inventory levels of resale and tools. Assists manager in providing accurate and timely information on Auto specials to the Marketing Office for publication and news release. Works under supervision of the Auto Hobby manager. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment and professional appearance. Performs housekeeping duties (office/lounge}, receives instruction and performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must have experience in cash handling, clerical or office work of any kind in which the applicant has demonstrated the ability to perform satisfactorily at the pay band level of the position. Must possess skill i n dealing with the public. Must demonstrate the ability to perform common mathematical problems and make proper change when received payments. Must have ability to communicate clearly, effectively both orally and in writing. This is a position of trust requiring satisfactorily completion of a National Agency Check.
