SUMMARY: The mission of Joint Region Marianas (JRM) Warfighter & Family Readiness (WFR) is to enhance quality of life through customer driven services that make a difference every day in the lives of our service members and their families. RESPONSIBILITIES: Major duties and responsibilities are summarized below.

Conducts daily, monthly, semiannual and annual preventative maintenance on fitness, sports, and aquatic equipment. Performs service and maintains fitness equipment and products by ordering and delivering components; installing equipment; programming systems; completing acceptance tests. Maintains systems and products by responding to problems; conducting tests; diagnosing problems; completing repairs. Ensures equipment on the fitness floor such as treadmills, elipticals and other fitness equipment are working properly. Maintains records by documenting original system, upgrades, and repairs. Maintains the building, pools and grounds. Inspects buildings and MWR areas in order to ensure safety rules and regulations are to standard. Picks-up trash and paper from grounds and working areas. May rake leaves and pull weeds, as required. Loads and unloads heavy boxes, bulky supplies, and materials to and from trucks, dollies, etc.

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles and operating characteristics of fitness equipment. Knowledge of how the parts, components, and assemblies are installed and how they work together to locate malfunctions through visual, operational, audio, and standard test equipment checks. Skill to remove and tear down assemblies to diagnose the problem and make adjustment and/or repair to equipment. Skill to rebuild, reinstall and align components after repair is completed. Ability to read manufacturer’s service manuals and understand schematics and wiring diagrams. Ability to obtain a certification within 60 days of hire if one has not been certified. Knowledge skill sufficient to run lawnmowers and use of hatchets, saws, hand and other tools requiring the same level of knowledge and skill. Knowledge and skill sufficient to read signs follow simple oral and written instructions. Ability to work safely while moving light to heavy weight objects.

1. Reemployment Priority List (RPL): Qualifying separated employees shall have priority placement in the NAF activity from which
they were separated as a result of a Business Based Action (BBA), when the position has substantially the same duties as the
position from which they were separated and it is not a higher grade or employment category, provided the position is not being
filled by an internal candidate. To claim this preference, you MUST:
•Submit a copy of your BBA Separation Notification indicating eligibility for RPL.

2. Military Spouse Preference (MSP): Qualifying spouses eligible for MSP are spouses of an active duty military member of the
U.S. Armed Forces, including members of the National Guard or Reserves on active duty. The marriage must have occurred
before the military member received official permanent change of station (PCS) orders to Guam. MSP is applicable only when
applying for NAF positions at the NF-03 and below and equivalent craft and trade (CT) positions. To claim this preference, you
